Meet the Team
At R&R Studios, we believe that the people who guide our practices are an integral part of the experience. Our teachers are thoughtfully chosen for their depth of knowledge, experience, and the way they hold space for others - bringing a level of care and understanding that extends beyond the practice itself.
Each teacher brings their own approach to Yoga, Pilates, Barre & Rest, sharing these practices with authenticity while honouring both their foundations and the individual needs of those who step into the room. Through their guidance, they create space for you to move with awareness, connect to your breath, and come home to yourself - again and again.
We invite you to explore our teachers’ bios and try different classes to discover the practice that resonates the most with you.
However you choose to move, we look forward to holding space for you.

Meet the founder
Catherine Hindson
Yoga/ Rest/ Facials/ Retreats
Founder of Retreat & Rewild, Cat is a Vinyasa, Restorative & Yin yoga teacher and trained holistic facialist. Inspired by years of hosting nature-led retreats, Cat founded R&R Studios in August 2023 as a permanent Cotswolds home for grounding practices and joyful movement. The studio offers a calm, considered space for Yoga, Barre & Pilates classes, as well as an intentionally curated treatment room and event space. Every class, event & treatment here is thoughtfully held to give you a space to retreat, rest, and reconnect.
The intention behind the formation of R&R, both through retreats and our studio, was to create a home for meaningful practices. To create spaces that encourage people to drop out of the thinking mind, and into the feeling body. Words from Cat: "R&R studios is a cultivation of all the practices that I find to bring me joy and a sense of connection, from meditation & deep rest to barre & Pilates. I hope that what we have created here will become a sanctuary for you to retreat throughout the week."
Meet the Team

Amber White
Yoga
Amber is a yoga teacher and co-founder of Josser, a travelling restuarant which she runs with her partner Ols, the Circus Chef. When she’s not serving delicious food, looking after baby Zephyr, or running around after Steve the black lab, you’ll find her guiding classes here at R&R Studios. Words from Amber – “I am passionate about teaching connection – with self, others and nature – which I believe to be the key ingredient for a happier and healthier life. My classes are welcoming, fun and inspiring, with an emphasis on light-heartedness, kindness and only doing what feels right for your body. Join me on the mat where we’ll unite mind, body and body as we flow from one posture to the next, creating space for you to explore how it feels in your body in that moment. A regular practice will enable you to build inner-awareness, taking you on a journey of self-discovery which will allow you to tune into your beautifully unique body with curiosity and compassion. My classes are all about meeting yourself where you are, shaking off expectations and maybe breaking a little bit of sweat, but ultimately feeling capable and content.”

Catherine Hindson
Yoga/ Rest/ Facials
Founder of Retreat & Rewild, Cat is a Vinyasa, Restorative & Yin yoga teacher. She has set her roots in the Cotswolds with the opening R&R Studios in August 2023. Words from Cat – “I am a huge fan of the little things in life. Slow mornings with a cup of coffee in bed, long walks in the Cotswolds countryside with sweet friends, evenings in with candles on, watching sunlight dance on the walls, queueing up to buy pastries after Sunday morning yoga. The mundane moments that can become beautiful when you slow down and notice them. To me, this is what yoga is. It’s slowing down and noticing. It’s being present and feeling. It’s the balance of doing and being. The practices I share are gentle, soulful, and uplifting. They meet you as you are, compassionately guiding you through a collective movement practice, whilst allowing you the space and autonomy for your own experience. My teaching style is fluid, inquisitive, grounding and dynamic. Taking time to float from one shape to another and weaving this together with the breath. That’s the sweet spot for me, so that’s what I share. My current teachers are Kalpana Tagore, Pip Roberts and Satu Tuomela. I’ve trained in India and with several teachers I’m inspired by in the UK. My understanding of the landscapes of our bodies in underpinned by my degree in Biomedical Science. When I guide yoga, I love to layer this base of scientific knowledge with Daoist & non-dual Tantrik philosophy as well as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).”

Chloe Nicholls
Barre/ Yoga/ Massage
Chloe is a Barre and Yoga instructor who has been teaching in London for the last seven years, she is delighted to join the team at R&R. Her kind nature will support and guide you through each of her classes, but you can still expect to feel that deep barre burn as they challenge you to feel the best you can in body and mind. As a former professional dancer Chloe has always been fascinated by the human body and its potential for movement. Through years of training and performing she developed a deep understanding of the body’s mechanics and the importance of maintaining physical and mental wellness. This led her to pursue a career in massage therapy with the goal of helping others achieve lasting change and balance.

Izzy Richardson
Pilates
Izzy is a STOTT Pilates trained Mat & Reformer instructor with a background in dance and aerial circus which is where her love for movement began. Her teaching blends classical foundations with a contemporary, dynamic flow that encourages both strength and fluidity. Expect classes that focus on mindful movement, proper alignment, and a strong mind–body connection so each session feels intentional. Izzy is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can move with confidence, feel supported, and enjoy a well-rounded and feel good workout. Whether you’re new to Pilates or deepening your practice, her goal is for you to leave class feeling grounded, energized, and confident in your body.

Jen Smith
Barre/ Pilates/ Lymphatic Drainage
Jen is an upbeat, positive and energetic person and you’ll experience this vibe in her classes. Jen is classically trained but her flow is heavily influenced by her time living in Sydney Australia so expect a contemporary, dynamic and fun class rooted in Pilates fundamentals. After recovering from a broken and dislocated collar bone at the start and the pandemic, Jen found that her normal movement routine no longer supported her body. Jen rediscovered her joy for Pilates; kind low impact movement that still packed a punch! A few years of practice later, Jen was the strongest she’d ever been both mentally and physically and wanted to share the amazing benefits with others. Jen trained and qualified in 2022, left her full time office role and hasn’t looked back! Come and experience the Pilates burn with her!

Loulou Randall
Barre/ Yoga
Loulou is a Yoga, Barre and movement facilitator, guiding classes that blend many forms of movement. She is passionate about music; weaving a carefully curated playlist into every class. You can expect her Barre & Flow classes from her that allow you to feel energised and grounded, flowing seamlessly from one move to the next, building strength, stamina and mental resilience. Whilst Loulou has explored varied movement styles, her background in music has shaped the way she teaches; believing that there is an undeniable connection between breath, movement, music and their shared ability to empower and connect us.

Noémie Fontenelle
Yoga/ Rest/ Thai Massage
Noémie is a Stroud-based Yoga teacher, Thai massage bodyworker and somatic practitioner. Words from Noémie - My work is deeply holistic, weaving together ancient Eastern philosophies and techniques with a modern, body-centred approach to healing. I aim to create welcoming and inclusive spaces intended to guide you into a greater state of presence and a sense of wholeness within yourself. Through movement, breath, meditation and therapeutic touch, I invite dialogue with the nervous system in a trauma-informed way. I’m passionate about how body-based healing brings depth to our everyday experience allowing us to feel more empowered, more resilient and more open to the fluidity of being human.

Ren Collier-Smith
Yoga/ Rest
Ren is a facilitator of soft, slow, and somatic spaces that honour the body and mind. He work invites people out of performance and into presence - through rest, breath, meditation, movement, and ritual. With a deep respect for the nervous system and the subtleties of sensation, Ren guides practices that centre on you finding the pathways to your own sense of safety, softness, and the quiet magic of coming home to yourself. No aesthetic to maintain. No outcome to chase. Just space to feel, unravel, and reweave. For anyone who's spent a lifetime organising, fixing, and planning - know that you don’t need permission to rest and that Ren offers you practices to do just that.

Sæunn Rut Sævarsdóttir
Yoga/ Rest
Sæunn is a yoga teacher and outdoor enthusiast from Iceland and now based in the Cotswolds. Words from Sæunn – “I have been fascinated by movement and wellness my whole life, having danced from a young age and then later pursuing a Master’s in Public Health (focus on health and lifestyle). When I discovered the magic of yoga it was like coming home. I am truly passionate about taking the practice of yoga and extending it beyond the mat. After all, life happens outside of the yoga studio and I want to help you make the most of that life. In my flow classes I weave in my background in dance and combine it with a keen knowledge of the human body and psyche to create a practice full of creativity and joy, and usually a little bit of spice. A practice which aims to explore that elusive balance, between effort and ease, between strength and softness – helping you appreciate all that you’re capable of, on the mat and off it. In my softer classes I encourage gentleness and acceptance, tuning in through deep and juicy yin postures and usually finishing with a deeply nourishing Nidra. Learning to awaken quiet and calm in a busy world. Rest is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Movement is medicine, but so is stillness. Again, it’s all about that elusive balance. Whether you join me for a strong and sweaty flow or a soft and deep yin class, I will always encourage you to move mindfully, to listen to the body and observe the current state of mind – to be present. This is your practice, your time, and I’m only here to offer some suggestions.”

Our Classes

Yoga (Rewild)
Yoga (Rewild) is our signature Yoga class at R&R Studios. We blend asana, pranayama, meditation and rest into a full spectrum vinyasa-style practice.
You can expect a dynamic, creative class curated to the season we are in. Our teachers draw on varied trainings and their own personal practice sharing flavours of Vinyasa, Katonah®, Embodied Yin™, TCM, Non-dual Tantra, and Restorative yoga.
This class is open to all. The practice is dynamic, so some previous yoga experience is helpful. Come exactly as you are. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Yoga (Rise)
Yoga (Rise) is our 45-minute morning yoga practice, designed to help you arrive in your body before the day unfolds. Typically beginning with seated pranayama (breathwork), the practice unfolds into a dynamic vinyasa sequence that invites a deeper connection to breath, body, and self.
Like our signature Yoga (Rewild) class, our teachers draw on their diverse trainings, personal practice, and the rhythms of nature to attune each class with the season.
This class is open to all. Some previous yoga experience may be helpful, but beginners are always welcome. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Yoga (Retreat)
Yoga (Retreat) is our slower-paced, vinyasa-inspired practice, offering a space to retreat from the pace of everyday life and reconnect with yourself. Expect to be guided through steady, flowing sequences before the practice gradually softens into longer-held postures and stillness.
More spacious than our signature Yoga (Rewild) class, this practice invites you to explore breath, movement, and presence at an unhurried pace.
This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners, and is ideal for anyone looking for a slower-paced practice while still enjoying the feeling of moving through a vinyasa flow. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Yoga (Restore)
Yoga (Restore) at R&R Studios is our slowest yoga practice, blending floor-based postures, gentle movement, and extended moments of rest. With a focus on slowing down and settling in, this class offers space to soften, release, and reconnect.
You will move more than in a Rest class, but at a slower and more grounded pace than Yoga (Rewild) and Yoga (Retreat). This practice is ideal for beginners, those returning to yoga after a break, or anyone seeking a quieter way to move. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Barre
Barre at R&R Studios is a high-energy, low-impact movement practice designed to leave you feeling strong, uplifted, and deeply connected to your body.
This musically-driven class blends bodyweight resistance, optional props (like ankle weights, Pilates balls, and loop bands), and high repetitions to build strength, stability, and endurance. Yes, that signature barre burn is part of the magic.
Barre is suitable for all levels and is taught in layers, so you can move in a way that feels right for you. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Pilates (Resist)
Pilates (Resist) is our signature Pilates class at R&R Studios. A dynamic, full-body practice designed to challenge, energise, and leave you feeling strong.
Expect thoughtful programming, carefully curated music, and intentional sequencing that creates an immersive movement experience. Drawing inspiration from the Australian approach to Pilates, this class blends precision with play. Optional weighted props can be incorporated throughout the practice to add challenge and variety.
This class is open to all. The pace is dynamic, so some previous Pilates experience may be helpful. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Pilates (Refine)
Pilates (Refine) is our slower, technique-led Pilates practice, centred on precise movement, proper form, and embodied awareness. Through clear instruction and thoughtful progressions, you'll have the space to slow down, refine your technique, and build confidence in every movement.
This class is open to all and is particularly well suited to those new to Pilates or anyone who enjoys a more considered pace. If it's your first class, let your teacher know and we'll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.

Rest
Rest is our most supported practice at R&R Studios. Rooted in Restorative Yoga and complemented by elements of Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release, this class offers an opportunity to slow down, settle the nervous system, and practice the art of doing less.
Expect to spend the majority of class in fully supported postures using bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, sandbags, and other props. Each teacher brings their own experience and training to the practice, creating a unique approach to rest while honouring the same intention: to create space for introspection, stillness, and restoration.
This practice is truly accessible and open to all. If it’s your first class, let your teacher know and we’ll help you settle in.
Please note, registrations close 30 minutes before practice starts.
