Touch As Medicine
18th April | Thai-inspired Assists for Movement Teachers
This immersive, Thai-inspired training introduces movement teachers to a therapeutic approach to hands-on assisting - rooted in energetic awareness, conscious touch, and embodied presence.
Through a blended practice, philosophy, and hands-on lab, you’ll explore a Yoga–Thai massage approach that weaves rhythmic touch, rocking, compression, restorative postures, and supportive assists. The training includes an introduction to Sen line theory, the Thai approach to body reading, and the principle of leaning rather than pushing, offering a more intuitive and energetic way of seeing and working with the body. Rather than focusing on anatomy alone, we explore the body as an energetic, spiral and relational system, where touch supports nervous system regulation, somatic release, and deeper embodied awareness.
Throughout the training, the emphasis is on cultivating confidence with touch, learning simple Thai techniques you can weave into your teaching, and offering restorative, supportive assists that regulate the nervous system and elevate the student experience. By the end of the training, teachers will:
-
Gain a new, intuitive and energetic way of seeing the body.
-
Build confidence in hands-on assists grounded in presence, clarity and consent.
-
Learn Thai massage techniques that can be safely woven into Yoga teaching.
-
Explore adjustments particularly suited to restorative and slower practices.
-
Understand how touch supports embodiment, nervous system regulation and somatic release.
-
Develop an embodied sense of therapeutic touch and how to apply it with integrity.

MFR & Sound
8th May | Guest Teacher Event
Into the fascia, into the field.
Join guest teacher, Pip Roberts, for an evening of myofascial release and sound, This practice begins in a very close, inward way, using slow, intentional self-massage drawn from myofascial release. It is tactile, grounding and deeply nourishing, inviting you to listen to the quieter layers of the body and soften long-held tension with patience rather than force.
From there, the practice gradually opens out. As the physical layers unwind, awareness expands. We seal the practice with a sound bath, allowing vibration to wash through what has been released, giving your nervous system time to settle and your body the space it needs to integrate.
Expect to leave feeling both deeply at home in yourself and gently stretched into something wider. Rooted and spacious.

Fractals of the Whole: 12hr Katonah Yoga® Immersion
14th & 15th May | Teacher Training
Join this captivating 12-hour Katonah Yoga® training where you’ll be immersed in theory, philosophy and extended practices, leaving you with an incredibly well-rounded experience.
Katonah Yoga through its’ origins in Taoism shows us that everything is a part of something else. A minute is a segment of an hour, which is a portion of the day and a piece of the year. So how we experience one facet influences it all. We are a fractal of the whole. This practice makes clear that to embody one experience informs how we embody all experiences. Our yoga mat is a mirror to everything else and how we spend our time upon it can ripple both outwards and inwards.
During our 2 days together, we’ll spend time both on and off the mat as we go through what Katonah Yoga is, its’ guiding principles and breakdown one of its’ key metaphors that treats the body as a house. Both days will have a 90min physical practice in the morning and a slightly shorter session in the afternoon, around which we’ll discuss theory and philosophy. This will be a highly interactive training where your input is truly valued.
This is for you if you’re a movement teacher, keen yogi or want to dive deeper into the material. 12 hours applicable to Katonah Yoga® certification.
